Staff editor and photo editor for the Italian edition of National Geographic Magazine since 1998, for National Geographic Traveler Italy since 2018 and for the website nationalgeographic.it from 2010 to 2019, Marco Pinna is a journalist specialized in photography. Active for over 20 years in the world of professional photography, he teaches photojournalism and photoediting in specialized schools and workshops, a jury member of international and national photo contests, holds portfolio reviews in festivals and events throughout Italy and has curated photo exhibitions since the year 2000. In the recent past he created the photography blog “Fuori Fuoco” on nationalgeographic.it website and has been artistic director of photography festival Umbria World Fest in Foligno, Italy, for three years.
