Greg Lecoeur is an ocean and wildlife professional photographer who dedicates his life to the marine world, using the art of digital storytelling to raise awareness about ocean conservation.
Greg is a contributor with National Geographic Image Collection. His work has been widely published in international magazines and has won prestigious awards such as National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year in 2016 and, in February 2020, Underwater Photographer of the Year by UPY London.
Growing up on the French Riviera, Greg learned scuba diving in the Mediterranean where he developed his passion for the marine world and underwater photography as a self-taught photographer.
His strong passion for photography and his fascination for marine biology urge him to spend all his time under water to explore and capture, with his camera, the essence of life across the oceans.
As a witness of nature, his one and only objective is to be involved in scientific projects pointing out the fragility of our oceans and the importance of preserving our planet.
